Robert J. "Bob" Finney has been involved in real estate for the past three years, In his former life, he taught social studies (world history, sociology, world geography, etc.) at Cathedral, Mapleton, Highland and Holy Family High Schools. He also taught classes at Regis University and Western Civilization in the Gold program for CU Denver. During that 32-year teaching span he began his coaching career with little league football and baseball, then moved into high school coaching that included 23 years of football 14 years as head coach, as well as a variety of other sports, both for boys and girls (basketball, baseball, tennis, golf, track, etc.).
Bob received his Bachelor's degree in secondary education in 1967 from Colorado State College (now University of Northern Colorado) in Greeley. He received his Master's degree in secondary education in 1989 from Western State College in Gunnison. He has an additional 45 hours of educational credits above that required for a Master's degree.
His real estate training includes a GRI. He is a member of the Aurora Real Estate Association.
Bob was born in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, and moved with his family to Colorado in 1952. Bob has been married for 43 years, has two sons and three grandchildren. He enjoys travel, golf, fishing and camping. |
